I began exploring the idea of participating in a yoga teacher training program around 2006. I was unhappy with my career. Move!

If I were a bit more mindful of my tasks and not so attached to the outcome, I’d enjoy my work more and suffer less physically. I must be watchful of overdoing. This tendency and its result are obvious during my days in the garden. I’ll have a bed I want to put in or a walkway I MUST get constructed over the weekend. Chevron Yoga

There was a time when I thought of yoga as something I saved for my time on the mat or yoga studio. But with continued practice and study, yoga becomes an integral part of life. Resolution, Schmesolution. Make a Plan Instead!

When I was about 10 years old, my brother-in-law, my sisters, and I were out in the back yard. We had been playing with my little sister in her red wagon. At some point, my brother-in-law jumped in the wagon and rode it down our steep back yard.
